Meet Butch

Butch has been with Crescent for four years as a Banquet Manager in the Washington D.C./Virginia market, and just won a National Leader of the Year award.

His enthusiasm is electric and he describes winning the award as, “It is an experience and award I will treasure forever! What an honor to be selected from so many associates at so many properties.”

Butch describes working for Crescent as “a home where everyone enjoys doing what they do best, and where dedication and hard work pay off. Here, the guest is king and I make sure their experiences exceed expectations. Crescent does the same by being a stable and growing company with benefits, promotions and growth. Jessica

Meet Jessica

Jessica joined Crescent in 2014 from a large hotel brand and is a Human Resources Manager at a property in St. Louis. Since joining Crescent, Jessica has received a promotion and works daily with guests, associates, and managers in her role.

Jessica describes working at Crescent as, “Here, the positive attitude is contagious. The culture we have makes everyone so happy, and everyone wants to be here!”

Jessica’s advice to candidates, “Get your foot in the door with Crescent. This is a great company with opportunity and growth. Everyone is so encouraged in a positive way!”

Clarence

Meet Clarence

Clarence joined Crescent in 2009 as a property controller. Since then, he has graduated through the organization holding the position of Regional Controller and VP Finance – Hotel Accounting.

When asked what traits he has which have especially been recognized at Crescent, Clarence credits the ability to look for opportunities to try and improve the organization’s processes and looking for ways to develop a stronger and more dynamic workplace.

He describes his continued success as a result of a culture at Crescent which looks for talent from within, while nourishing and motivating by supporting each and every associate to strive for higher goals.

Meet Sabbir

Our Canadian properties are well represented by Sabbir, who graduated from the Hospitality program at Centennial College and then gained a wealth of experience working within many areas of the hotel industry. He began working at a large property in Toronto, and was able to gain experience with a number of brands. During his time he has gained experience in roles at the Front Desk, Sales, and in Accounting. This experience, along with his passion for the opportunities within Crescent Hotels & Resorts has enabled Sabbir to become the Guest Services Manager at The Howard Johnson Toronto Yorkville, where he oversees the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments. He has become a mentor and leader at the property.

Sabbir comments that “Crescent is an incredibly enjoyable place to be. Not only has Crescent been professional in every aspect of running the company and property, but they have been amazing in the support they give to all of the associates. Crescent cares about the associates and helps us advance our career down the path we want to see it go. Opportunities for promotion from within are everywhere. Meet Eva

Eva enjoys working for Crescent Hotels & Resorts because it gives her an opportunity to help others on a daily basis. In her position, she takes a lot of pride in her work and she understands how important her role is in helping the housekeeping department in taking care of our guests. She has always liked working at this hotel and appreciates how our company recognizes associates who do their jobs well.

The thing she enjoys most, is the interaction with the people and the teamwork among the associates, it helps her to continue to do her job well. She receives great support at the hotel and from Crescent Hotels and knows that she is appreciated by her fellow associates and managers at the Crowne Plaza St Louis.
